We originally met at the Hamilton House Restaurant on Terry Lane
but had to move our meetings in 1999 when the Hamilton House
closed. Since that time we have met at the Wild River Public
House.
There are many wonderful memories over the past years. Who
remembers calling BINGO numbers at Boatnik, or helping give
vaccinations to children at the Kid's Care Fairs, or suffering
through Adopt-a-Highway projects without our beloved grabbers.
Remember Bob Chalupa's Presidential induction ceremony where we all
were introduced to haggis? Or Steve Roe's ceremony where we
were greeted with the roars of Harley-Davidson motorcycles as they
rumbled through our meeting. There are many other memories
like these that our long-time members could share that would bring a
smile to your face. If you get a chance, ask one of the
original members to share a story with you.
