The Rotary Foundation Committee - Develops and implements a plan to support the Foundation through program participation and financial contributions. Promotes, documents, and collects the annual pledges throughout the year for TRF. Give periodic reports to the club about the status of foundation funds. May also promote and oversee Polio Plus donations. Committee members, particularly the chair, attend district meetings related to TRF. International Youth Exchange Committee - Oversees the activities and safety of youth exchange student(s), including finding host families, conducting in-home interviews with potential host families, holding host-family orientation for all host parents before the exchange student arrives, visiting host families and provide support and encouragment to the exchange student(s). World Community Service Committee - Locates humanitarian projects to become involved with, either spearheading new ventures or partnering financially with other Rotary Clubs. Committee members, especially the chair, attend WCS district meetings. |
